SDDBA provides business discovery, sourcing, matching and referral services. Marketplace and Promo Shop products and services are offered by independent participating businesses. Unless expressly stated otherwise, SDDBA is not the seller or service provider. Final pricing, contracts, payment, applicable taxes, fulfillment, warranties, returns and other transaction terms are handled directly between the buyer and the participating business. Marketplace participation does not guarantee sales, contracts, referrals or awards.

Listings are reviewed by SDDBA before publication, but inclusion in the Marketplace does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or representation regarding a business’s qualifications, licensing, certification status, insurance, bonding, performance, or suitability. Buyers should independently verify all qualifications before purchasing or contracting.

Marketplace vendors are independent businesses. Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for final pricing, invoicing, payment processing, applicable taxes, fulfillment, production, artwork approval, shipping, returns, refunds, warranties and customer service.

Vendors must be approved by SDDBA before becoming publicly searchable. SDDBA may hide, suspend or archive listings or storefronts that violate listing standards. Vendor-reported certifications are displayed as such until verified by SDDBA; SDDBA does not issue outside certifications.

Vendors may participate in one or more SDDBA programs (Business Directory, Marketplace, Promo Shop Supplier, Section 3 Program, Contracting Opportunity Matching). Marketplace participation is not required to participate as a Promo Shop supplier, and Promo Shop participation does not automatically create a Marketplace storefront.

Promo Shop suppliers provide promotional products, branded merchandise, apparel, printing, signage and related products. Suppliers handle final pricing, invoices, customer payment, sales/use tax obligations, artwork, proof approval, production, inventory, shipping, delivery, returns, refunds, replacements, warranties and product-related customer service.

Supplier profiles are private. Promo-Shop-only suppliers are not required to participate publicly in the Marketplace, and no public Marketplace storefront is created automatically. Product submissions are reviewed and approved by SDDBA before publication; suppliers cannot publish directly.

Displayed price estimates are provided by the supplier and are not final unless the supplier confirms them in a written quote.

The following are not permitted in the Marketplace or Promo Shop: illegal products, counterfeit products, fraudulent businesses, misleading certification claims, intellectual-property infringement, deceptive listings, and prohibited products.

Visitors may use the Report Listing and Report Vendor functions on any listing or storefront. SDDBA administrators review all reports and may hide, suspend or archive inappropriate listings.

Quote requests and sourcing requests submitted through the Marketplace are routed to the appropriate participating business or reviewed by SDDBA for supplier matching. The vendor or supplier handles final pricing and the actual transaction directly with the buyer.

SDDBA may receive compensation related to referrals under private supplier arrangements; where applicable, appropriate disclosures will be provided. Referral arrangements are never charged to customers automatically and are not publicly displayed.

Information submitted through Marketplace forms is used to operate the discovery, sourcing, matching and referral program. Supplier pricing sheets and private business terms are never published. See the site Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for general data practices.
